We actively shape public health responses across member states, drawing from hands-on experience scaling the UNIC Medical School Mobile Clinic and advising on Mpox and HIV at the highest EU institutional levels.

Strongly aligned with the EU4Health programme, we provide expert insight into managing cross-border health threats and multi-country disease outbreaks. C.L.Krasidis, serving as a community expert for the WHO Regional Office for Europe on the A-Net & Mpox workgroup, as well as the ECDC STI Network Coordination Committee, is active in informing international rapid risk assessments and public health reports. Our team support European consortia in designing rapid-response interventions that enhance community resilience and protect public health across Member States.

We champion proactive, evidence-based preventative care to mitigate public health crises before they escalate. Our extensive portfolio includes co-authoring the National PrEP Plan (2025) for the Republic of Cyprus National AIDS Committee (on behalf of the AIDS Solidarity Movement), spearheading nationwide combination prevention campaigns, and expanding the UNIC Medical School Mobile Clinic to deliver essential, free medical screenings across the country (2022-2025). Furthermore, our strategic communication management for both medical and veterinary academic institutions underscores our holistic, One Health approach to promoting broader societal well-being.

We advocate for person-centred care and the continuous enhancement of quality of life for individuals managing chronic conditions. Our expertise is grounded in targeted interventions and research, such as the 'Ageing with HIV' and community needs surveys for HIV/AIDS and Diabetes, alongside capacity-building initiatives like the European AIDS Treatment Group (EATG) PROMise project, which focuses on Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs). Our leadership is active with local initiatives, working closely with the Cyprus Diabetic Association (member of IDF Europe) and the AIDS Solidarity Movement (member of AIDS Action Europe). We partner with EU initiatives to ensure that healthcare frameworks remain inclusive, accessible, and responsive to the long-term needs of vulnerable demographics.

With deep-rooted expertise in sexual and reproductive health, we guide evidence-based policy and educational programmes. From conducting pioneering behavioural research on Chemsex and sexualised drug use (funded by the Cyprus National Addictions Authority), to collaborating with the AIDS Solidarity Movement and the Cyprus Family Planning Association, in various roles (research, data collection and analysis, community testing, artistic director for sexual rights campaigns and trainer for EU-funded projects), we address complex health challenges using non-stigmatising, culturally competent methodologies. We equip consortia with the analytical data and operational frameworks necessary to implement highly effective sexual health interventions.

We excel in translating high-level EU health policies into tangible, community-led action. Our operational track record includes establishing grassroots testing facilities like the Cy Checkpoint and Cyprus PrEP Point, as well as managing complex EU4Health programmes such as the 'CORE: Community Response to End Inequalities' project. 

By leveraging our leadership's participation within international networks like AIDS Action Europe​, COBATEST, Africa Advocacy Foundation, Mi-Health, EATG and SHAPE, and local state bodies (Cyprus Ministry of Health & Cyprus National Addictions Authority) and Civil Society NGOs such as the Cyprus Diabetic Association, the AIDS Solidarity Movement, the Cyprus Refugee Council, the Cyprus Family Planning Association, and Accept LGBTI Cyprus, we ensure your consortium's interventions achieve maximum reach, trust, and measurable impact at the grassroots level.
