"CORE" (EU4Health)
C.L.Krasidis worked on the EU4Health ‘CORE: Community Response to End Inequalities’ programme, on behalf of the AIDS Solidarity Movement, Cyprus, and led by AIDS Action Europe. Our involvement ensured that the Movement's prevention interventions effectively address health disparities by integrating grassroots community engagement with high-level European health strategies.

"Safe-R" (CERV-Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values)
C.L.Krasidis and D.Michaelidou worked closely together in directly supporting the European Commission’s Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) 'Safe-R : Safeguarding LGBTIQ+ People’s Right to Health' programme, on behalf of the AIDS Solidarity Movement team, led by the Cyprus Family Planning Association, securing civic engagement strategies, rights-based advocacy, and training delivered to Health Professionals and health-related students.

LGBTQI+ programmes
Christos Krasidis and Despina Michaelidou worked closely together in directly supporting the awareness campaign "IDAHOBIT Cyprus (2012): Life is not just Black & White" on LGBTQI visibility (2012), funded by the European Commission in Cyprus, with Christos working on behalf of the NGO Support Centre.

Community Health
We bridge the gap between institutional policy and on-the-ground practice by operationalising high-impact community health interventions. Through our leadership involvement with the AIDS Solidarity Movement, we have directed vital community-led testing and training initiatives, funded by the Republic of Cyprus Ministry of Health, the EU4Health 'CORE' programme, the Africa Advocacy Foundation's (AAF) 'Mi-Health' project, and the AIDS Healthcare Foundation's (AHF) 'PopUp Testing' campaigns. Furthermore, our extensive capacity-building portfolio includes designing and delivering specialised training programmes for the Cyprus National Addictions Authority, the EATG and its Step-Up Academy, the COBATEST network, and AIDS Action Europe.
Advocacy
We drive systemic legislative and public health reforms through strategic, evidence-based advocacy. Our landmark achievements include leading the advocacy efforts for official access to Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) in Cyprus, on behalf of the AIDS Solidarity Movement, presenting strategic health proposals to the Republic of Cyprus Parliament, and co-authoring the Ministry of Health's National PrEP Plan. Building on this legacy of policy influence, we recently co-authored and successfully advanced a crucial legislative reform proposal aiming to de-criminalise HIV transmission in the Republic of Cyprus. These milestones demonstrate our unparalleled ability to influence national health frameworks, protect fundamental human rights, and deliver critical policy victories for EU advocacy projects.
